I’m still processing those thousands of comics recently acquired in collections here at Sterling Silver Comics — among the recently priced back issues are the following:

Lots of early 2000s Detective Comics:

…plus literally thousands more comics! Daredevil! Wolverine! Green Lantern! Hellboy! Simpsons! X-Men! And far more than I can list here…well, I could list them, but that’ll take a lot of time, and I need to start getting them priced! Come by the shop and I’ll let you poke through the boxes…if you find anything you need, I’ll process those books for you on the spot!

Love is in the air…

comics
…and so is Binky, Scooter, Hawkman and the Atom, and Lidsville‘s HooDoo in his hatamaran in this small collection of late 1960s/early 1970s comics just acquired here at Sterling Silver Comics! Lots of fun reading for low, low prices!

We’ve got issues…back issues!

Hey, it’s not just new comics here at the shop, but old ones, too! Recently acquired a few hundred 1960s and 1970s Marvels:

oldcomics
…I’ve already sold some of the comics pictured here, but there’s plenty left in the boxes to poke through!

I also just brought in a bunch of 1980s DC Comics digests:

digests
…that range from “that’s pretty nice” to “well, at least it’s cheap” condition, so there’s a little something for everybody! These reprint classic stories starring Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Sgt. Rock, the Justice League, and many other of your favorite DC characters! Included in this collection is a full set of the Adventure Comics digests, which is the format this long-running DC series moved to after the monthly 32-page comic came to an end! Featured in the digests along with the Legion of Super-Heroes reprints are new non-reprint stories starring Captain Marvel and the Challengers of the Unknown!

I also finally got in some of those black-bagged “Death of Superman” comics (AKA Superman #75):

dos
…just because it didn’t feel like a comic shop without ’em! We got the rest of the “Death of Superman” saga in as well, in case you’re still looking to fill some holes in your collection…or if you just want to buy the whole thing! I won’t stop you!

I’m also working on a collection of 2008-2012 comics, including lots of New 52 titles, which should be out for sale this weekend!

Drop on by Sterling Silver Comics…always something new or old, coming in nearly every day!

Cards aplenty!

Just added to the Sterling Silver Comics eBay listings are a bunch of early 1990s trading card goodies, including sealed boxes of Marvel Universe III, Wolverine, and Star Trek! There are a couple of sets, too, for those of you who don’t feel like opening up packs and sorting out the cards yourself! Check out my listings and get yourself a little post-Christmas present!

Holiday schedule!

santabuc

Sterling Silver Comics will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, but open regular hours for the rest of the week.

The new comics shipment will be in-store and ready for sale on Wednesday, December 24th.

There will also be a smaller shipment of new comics on the shelves Wednesday, December 31st.

We are still taking special orders, but please note that due to the holidays, those orders may not arrive in as timely a schedule as usual.

Thanks to all of you for getting my store off to a great start, and here’s looking forward to a wonderful 2015!

“How happy are the Happy Days guys?”

Just added to my eBay auctions – a selection of 1970s teen celebrity and gossip magazines, featuring such favorites as Donny and Marie Osmond, the Brady Bunch kids, the Jackson 5, Randy Mantooth, Vince Van Patten, Rick Springfield, and many, many other! More are coming, but you can see what I have now in my eBay listings.

Yeah, I know, this doesn’t have a whole lot to do with comic books, but c’mon, how cool are these?

The I-Don’t-Feel-Like-Processing-These-Valiant-Comics sale!

valsale
So I’ve got this box of original Valiant Comics from the ’90s that I’ve been putting off stickering and pricing, and the box just sits there, not stickering or pricing itself like I’ve been hoping, and I need to get it out of my way. So, take advantage of my laziness! All Valiant Comics in this box are now $1.00 each, or 15 for $10…plus all applicable state taxes, of course. Turok, Harbinger, Eternal Warrior, X-O Manowar, Rai, more Harbinger, and plenty more of your favorites. Perfectly readable comics in nice condition…and they’re good, too! I read ’em all when they came out…here’s your chance to read them as well, in case you missed them the first time around. Or, relieve some nostalgic memories of these classic sci-fi/fantasy/superhero adventures.

A buck each, only for a limited time! Drop by soon while supplies last!

A few shots from around the shop!

Our giant comic book rack, able to front-face over 380 different titles for maximum visibility and convenience:

Another angle on the comic rack, including a good view of our two back-issue tables:

…which I’m still in the process of filling! More back issues added every day!

Here you can see the shop’s graphic novel shelves, merchandise displays, as well as a classic comic book spinner rack carrying a solid selection of suitable-for-all-ages titles:

More books, goodies, and shelving coming soon! Is anything more exciting than the promise of more shelving? No, of course not! Keep watching this website…or even better, drop by Sterling Silver Comics in Camarillo, CA to find out what’s coming next!
