Just arrived: another assortment of classic science fiction paperbacks! Come in and browse our shelves, and if you have any requests for specific authors, let us know…there’s plenty more where these came from!

Sterling Silver Comics will be closed Thursday, November 23rd for Thanksgiving Day, but we will be open our regular hours for the rest of the week. The new weekly shipment of comics will be available as normal on Wednesday, so be sure to stock up for some of that post-turkey reading!

Come to Sterling Silver Comics on Saturday November 18th for Justice League Day, where you can get a free Justice League comic book and special deals on other Justice League items, and Local Comic Shop Day, with exclusive LCSD items available for sale!

That’s what the shop looked like, a little over three years ago, shortly after we put in the flooring, and just as we were beginning to get the fixtures in place. We weren’t quite in a panic yet…that wouldn’t really happen until the evening of November 4th, as the new comics rack was still being installed with the grand opening only a few hours away!

But we made it, and here we are, three years later, still going strong. I just wanted to thank all of you, the customers of Sterling Silver Comics — the folks who were with us since day one, the new people who just found my shop yesterday, and the old-timers who’d been buying comics from me since before I had my own store — for helping make this endeavor a success. I couldn’t have done it without you.

…or is it HARLEY QUINN DAY? Yes, that’s right, unlike the traditional Batman Day celebrated by our ancestors, this year Harley Quinn is taking over for her 25th anniversary! Free Batman and Harley Quinn comics will be given away here at Sterling Silver Comics that day, while supplies last…and there will be special deals on Bats ‘n’ Harley items as well! Well, you can always find us at our street address of 2210 Pickwick Drive in Camarillo, CA! And you can reach us at 805-484-4708. We’re here seven days a week: Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 12 noon ’til 6 PM. We close for the major holidays (Christmas, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Easter) and usually close part-day for, like, the Fourth of July depending on what day of the week it falls. I’ll let you know here on this site.

I am always looking to buy comics, and will happily look at them any day of the week except Tuesday…I’m usually too busy that day processing the new weekly order. However, if that’s the only day you can make it in, you can drop the books off and I’ll go through them as soon as I’m able!

We do offer a military discount…just show your military ID at the register when you are ready to check out.

And like I say every week when I post the list of the week’s new comics…special orders are no problem! If it’s available and you want it, I’ll get it for you! …By which I mean comic books or graphic novels or toys and related items, not like sports cars or Fabergé eggs. Sorry!
